Škoda  |  VISION 7S

Vision ahead!

There’s a lot happening again at ŠKODA, the Czech carmaker with the “Simply Clever” everyday solutions. That’s clear from the completely new look presented recently by the brand as part of its NEXT LEVEL – ŠKODA STRATEGY 2030. The central focus is a new design language, a new logo and a comprehensive update of the Corporate Identity – a factor that can also positively reinforce the appearance of a company fleet in the future – see our article on “Corporate matters, does it not? The importance of Corporate Identity for your fleet”.

ŠKODA has also announced the acceleration of its electric offensive, starting with the launch of three new all-electric models on the market by 2026, with others to follow. The VISION 7S¹⁾ concept car provides the first specific preview. The vehicle offers space for up to seven people, with one of the seats designed especially for a baby seat. It is therefore aimed at families – and thus naturally also of interest for company car users.

“Thanks to its 89 kWh battery, the VISION 7S offers a range of over 600 kilometres and is capable of fast charging at 200 kW. These parameters underline the technical possibilities of the modular electric drive matrix.” ¹⁾ ²⁾

Robust, functional and authentic
Viewed from the outside, the VISION 7S¹⁾ is the first ŠKODA ever with a matt body colour – ideal for making a good impression in both private and business use. Along with the solid underbody and aerodynamic roof lines, the Tech-Deck Face at the front end packs a punch in particular: it embodies a modern reinterpretation of the familiar ŠKODA grille and though it has similar lines, it is significantly flatter and wider than before. The ribs have been replaced by dark glass that conceals the vehicle’s sensors. The brand logo has also changed and is replaced by the redesigned ŠKODA lettering, complemented by a new ambient light strip, which features illuminated graphics and extends across the entire width of the vehicle at the upper edge of the front section.

The right interior for many settings
At first glance, the long passenger compartment hints at the generous interior space awaiting users. VISION 7S¹⁾ is an impressive enhancement of the ŠKODA interior concept, with a spacious and safety-oriented interior for up to seven people and a completely redesigned natural Human Machine Interface (HMI). Highlights include two different interior configurations (driving and relaxing) and the ideal balance between haptic and digital controls. The innovative child seat exudes safety and comfort. It is installed facing rearwards on the centre console in front of the second row of seats. All this is surrounded by durable and sustainable materials and lots of “Simply Clever” ideas.

Two interior configurations: driving and relaxing mode, child seat in the safest place in the vehicle.

Redesigned steering wheel, intuitive Human Machine Interface (HMI), three rotary knobs ensure simple use.

Sustainable materials and ambient lighting.

1)ŠKODA VISION 7S: This is a concept vehicle that is not yet available as a production model.

2)Value determined in the WLTP measurement procedure. Actual fuel range depends on factors such as personal driving style, route conditions, outside temperature, weather conditions, use of heating and air conditioning, pre-tempering, number of passengers. All data is provisional.
