Fleet Management  |  Digitalisation

Efficiency booster …

for fleet management in GermanyWhether 20 or 200 vehicles – digital solutions can be a game changer for managing fleets of any size: routine tasks are greatly simplified, especially in administration, and scope is provided for activities that generate greater value. This is precisely where the free fleet management portal FleetOnline¹⁾ and the premium FleetCARS²⁾ variant come into play.

Digital fleet management made simple: Looking for an uncomplicated, budget-friendly solution? Then look no further than FleetOnline¹⁾. The free fleet management portal from Volkswagen Leasing GmbH offers a wealth of basic functions, which already simplify fleet management significantly. From insights into key figures relating to vehicles³⁾ to digital access to selected documents and invoices in the document centre – the scope is impressive. No installation is required; FleetOnline¹⁾ can be used as a web application on all mainstream PCs, tablets and smartphones, regardless of location and device.

The name says it all: yourFleetService

With the integrated yourFleetServices, the range of FleetOnline¹⁾ functions can be expanded as required. Fleet managers can submit online requests on a wide range of topics – whether adjustments to vehicle mileage, contract periods or vehicle purchases. Digital processing not only allows such requests to be processed faster, but also more transparently. The current process status can be checked at any time via the corresponding vehicle file or in the full overview of all online requests. Another advantage is that paper-based communication is eliminated, meaning that resources can be conserved.

“Digital fleet management from Volkswagen Leasing GmbH offers fleet customers the opportunity to control all relevant data using just one tool, giving them a 360° view of the entire fleet.”

Jochen Schmitz

Head of Fleet Customer Sales Germany, Volkswagen Leasing GmbH

Next level fleet management with FleetCARS²⁾

FleetCARS²⁾ allows company fleets in Germany to be managed in an even more comprehensive and targeted manner. The fee-based premium solution supplements FleetOnline¹⁾ with a wide range of powerful features. For example, the extended fleet view provides users with more detailed information on the entire vehicle life cycle. Added to this is the possibility to create individual reports, which can be used as a basis for data-driven fleet optimisation.

Meanwhile, the integrated calendar and reminder function for monitoring important deadlines and dates is an extremely useful everyday function. FleetCARS can also be optionally supplemented as needed by other products, such as claims management and the electronic driver’s licence check. All in all, FleetCARS²⁾ allows relevant fleet processes to be managed centrally – for purchased or financed vehicles and even for other lessors⁴⁾.

Be digital ready: Here’s how to register

Fleet customers of Volkswagen Leasing GmbH can register quickly and easily online for the FleetOnline fleet management portal using this link. Registration is possible alternatively and for the FleetCARS premium variant through in-house sales or key account management. Further information and answers to frequently asked questions (including explanatory videos) can be found here:

The direct and indirect subsidiaries of Volkswagen Financial Services AG provide various services under the collective brand name “Volkswagen Financial Services”. These are bank services (provided by Volkswagen Bank GmbH), leasing services (provided by Volkswagen Leasing GmbH), insurance services (provided by Volkswagen Versicherung AG, Volkswagen Autoversicherung AG) as well as mobility services (provided by Volkswagen Leasing GmbH among others). In addition, insurance products from other providers are arranged.

¹⁾The complimentary services are only available for individual commercial buyers and fleet customers of Volkswagen Leasing GmbH.

²⁾The fee-based services are only available for fleet customers of Volkswagen Leasing GmbH with a valid fleet customer framework agreement. The FleetOnline user agreement is a basic prerequisite for concluding the FleetCARS supplementary agreement.

³⁾All vehicles under contract with Volkswagen Leasing GmbH as well as related data are integrated in FleetOnline.

⁴⁾Contract data for vehicles that are not under contract with Volkswagen Leasing GmbH can also be manually integrated in FleetCARS. Due to limited data available for contracts with other providers, not all FleetCARS functions are available.
