It is far more than an organisational move, says Knut Kr\u00f6sche, the new Vice President Volkswagen Group Fleet International: the realignment taking effect in September 2026 and the integration into Group Sales send a clear signal to fleet customers. Mr Kr\u00f6sche, for the past seven years, Volkswagen Group Fleet International has been part of Volkswagen Financial Services AG. On 1 September, it will be integrated directly into the Volkswagen Group\u2019s sales organisation. What message does this realignment send, in your view?\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The fleet segment accounts for\u00a0<\/span>a significant proportion<\/span> of vehicle sales across the Group. The fleet business is therefore of considerable strategic and economic importance. The integration into Group Sales now underlines that importance even more clearly \u2013 including at an organisational level.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The fact that our organisational structure will in future link us directly to the highest level of the Group\u00a0<\/span>demonstrates<\/span>\u00a0very clearly how important the fleet business is to us. Customers have responded positively across the board so far \u2013 particularly as the new structure will enable us to address issues more quickly, reach decisions more directly and, overall, act with greater agility in our customers\u2019 interests.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

What other operational benefits will this step offer corporate fleets?<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The integration will enable us to bundle and manage the Volkswagen Group\u2019s portfolio for fleet customers in an even more targeted way. This portfolio includes not only our established Group brands, but also important services from the broader ecosystem. I am thinking here, for example, of Elli, Volkswagen Group Info Services and Volkswagen Financial Services AG. This will give our fleet customers a comprehensive, integrated package from\u00a0<\/span>a single source<\/span>, with one central, reliable contact for all matters: their Key Account Manager.\u00a0<\/span>Not many<\/span>\u00a0competitors can offer this in such a comprehensive way.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

That is why, in the coming months, our\u00a0<\/span>main focus<\/span> will be on putting a high-performing team in place \u2013 working closely with our existing team, the Group brands, our importers, and our partners in the dealer network.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
