Given that it\u2019s three years since the last major upgrade, it\u2019s no surprise that Audi is now moving forward with the Q7 and embarking on the third generation of the SUV. Frequent drivers can look forward to a superior companion on the road, whether for business or pleasure. The new incarnation of the Q7 SUV impresses with its spaciousness, driving dynamics, comfort and technology. The same applies to the exterior, with its striking silhouette and expressive digital lighting technology. Available with either five, six, or seven seats, the Q7 delivers versatility alongside everyday usability.<\/span><\/p>\n

Spacious and versatile<\/h2>\n

The Audi Q7 SUV has three seating configurations. Five seats come as standard, with six or seven available at an extra cost. All seats are partially power-adjustable as standard. The second-row seats are power-adjustable longitudinally while the backrests fold in a 65\/35 split. In the 65-percent section of the backrest, a 30-percent section in the middle can be folded manually, creating a 35\/30\/35 split. Child seats fitted in the second row do not hinder access to the third row thanks to comfort entry: the seats in the middle row tilt forward in a 65\/35 split without folding flat. Comfort entry can be activated via the MMI, a button in the C pillar or in the luggage compartment. The luggage compartment in the five-seater has a capacity of up to 806 litres and up to 2,075 litres with the rear seats folded down. In the seven-seater, it is up to 722 and 1,980 litres respectively. In the six-seater the front seats are available with ventilation and massage functions as an option.<\/p>\n

Light and airy<\/h2>\n

Audi has made a special feature of the large panoramic sunroof in the third-generation Q7. The light flooding in to the interior enhances the feeling of space across all three rows and improves the well-being of passengers. Optional features include switchable transparency as well as, for the first time, illumination of the glass roof, whose colour adapts to the individually selected ambient lighting.\u00b3\u207e The roof can be switched from transparent to opaque in nine segments. When the Q7 is parked, the roof switches automatically to opaque to prevent visibility from the outside. When the engine is next turned on, the most recent setting is restored.<\/p>\n

The updated Bang & Olufsen premium sound system with 4D sound builds on the previous 3D sound system with headrest speakers and so-called seat actuators in the front seats. The aim is an immersive, personalised sound experience that really brings the music to life. This makes Audi a pioneer of multi-sensory in-car entertainment systems. A total of 22 speakers play music at up to 1,360 watts. The interaction lighting adjusts to the rhythm of the music.<\/p>\n

The enhanced infotainment system in the new Q7 is even more streamlined and user-centred. The Audi MMI panoramic display \u2013 with a curved design and OLED technology \u2013 comprises the Audi virtual cockpit and the MMI touch display. The passenger display with dynamic privacy mode comes as standard. An optional head-up display projects key information like speed, speed limits and navigation arrows directly into the driver\u2019s field of vision.<\/p>\n

Striking and self-assured<\/h2>\n

The third-generation Audi Q7 retains its muscular design. Confidence and sportiness define the striking front with the large Singleframe, which contrasts stylishly with the redesigned and functional air intakes. The new Q7 acquires additional width thanks to emphasis of the wheel arches. The digital daytime running lights and the digital matrix LED headlights underneath improve visibility and \u2013 together with the optionally illuminated Singleframe \u2013 create a very distinctive look.<\/p>\n

The exterior of the new Q7 makes a further statement with its upswept shoulder line, lending the sporty all-rounder a commanding silhouette. Signature Audi quattro blisters emerge from the shoulder, tapering into a distinctive D pillar at the rear. The D pillar is more upright overall, giving an almost horizontal roof line as well as more headroom and space inside.<\/p>\n

Pioneering lighting technology<\/h2>\n

In addition to the dynamic turn signals, Audi presents the advanced turn signal: at night, it projects a dynamic arrow symbol onto the road to indicate a lane change or turn more clearly to other road users. The advanced turn signal is only available in conjunction with the optional digital matrix LED headlights and digital OLED rear lights for an extra charge.<\/div>[vc_column_text css=””]<\/p>\n

Audi has continued its commitment to pioneering lighting technology in the new Q7 to increase road safety and offer multiple lighting functions. The digital matrix LED headlights with micro LED technology ensure visibility in the dark.<\/p>\n

The lighting technology in the new Q7 also actively supports drivers on the road. The light guiding functions of the digital matrix LED headlights, known as the lane light and orientation light, are even more closely integrated with the assist systems. The Q7 displays helpful information from the assist systems directly in the driver\u2019s field of vision immediately in front of the vehicle, thereby increasing road safety.<\/p>\n
