A successful model that is also being continuously refined and enhanced with new functions. Some of the most recent examples include the possibility to place multiple orders and the integration of Volkswagen Financial Services AG\u2019s leasing rates and services of into the ordering process for fleet customers with a standard profile.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2>What services does Fleet Ordering provide?<\/h2>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]Fleet managers and user-choosers have a multifunctional online portal at their disposal with Fleet Ordering. The range of functions extends from the creation of customer-specific car policies and vehicle configuration to the direct placement of orders in the production systems.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The key features are:[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The customer profile<\/strong><br \/>\nAll contractual terms and conditions with vehicle manufacturers are stored centrally here. Customer-specific car policies that are applied down to the very smallest detail as part of vehicle orders are applied here.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The configurator<\/strong><br \/>\nThe vehicle configuration is based on the company\u2019s individual car policy stored in the system, which specifies the corresponding procurement parameters. Brands and models can be shown and hidden and equipment can be permitted or, for example, stored as a mandatory field. This policy can be individually assigned to users and user groups. The vehicle data is based on the Group\u2019s own information and is also stored in the configurator and is always up to date. Fleet management also has the option of creating standard vehicles in the configurator.<br \/>\nThe vehicle communication also shows leasing rates and additional services in the standard profile of Volkswagen Financial Services AG \u2013 such as tyre services \u2013 based on fleet conditions. Fleet managers can also easily specify whether the system should display a value limit of the leasing rate \u2013 all it takes is one click. An e-mail can also be sent to the responsible retailer with just one click \u2013 for a smooth process with the greatest possible transparency and speed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The order<\/strong><br \/>\nWhen an order is placed, Fleet Ordering immediately issues a response regarding the buildability of the vehicle (updated daily). Assignment to a supplier alliance takes place in this process step. This allows users with the role of fleet manager to order multiple identical vehicles at the same time.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the order form there is a new field, \u201cnumber of vehicles\u201d, in which a number between 1 and 100 can be entered. The configured vehicle is then automatically ordered in the desired quantity.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]Another new function is the choice between the finance rate and the full service leasing rate. This means that a vehicle order can first be approved by the fleet manager, and then a second level of authority within the company can approve or reject the order.<\/p>\n<p>The car policy will also be greatly simplified. How is the order process carried out? What happens in the background? Once a fleet manager has created his or her authorised company car users in Fleet Ordering (see \u201cCustomer profile\u201d module), the manager can register via the web portal with just a few clicks. Company cars can then be individually configured according to the specifications of the company\u2019s own car policy. A comparison between several vehicles is also possible \u2013 for models from the Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Audi and \u0160koda brands. Once the selection has been made, Fleet Management receives the vehicle request via Fleet Ordering, checks it and approves it. The order will then be sent directly to the appropriate dealer and then forwarded to the production scheduling systems. This smooth process eliminates delays and possible transmission errors between the individuals involved in the process. It is always based on the latest vehicle and production data.
