What topic is currently on your mind the most?<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"iv-modul__answer\">\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">We are in the midst of a transformation \u2013 a very exciting but also very challenging time. In most European countries, electrification has not picked up speed as quickly as desired. We have some catching up to do.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<p class=\"L\" style=\"margin-right: 63.75pt;\"><strong>How will it be possible to successfully set new impulses in motion with regard to electrification?<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"iv-modul__answer\">\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">This cannot be done alone. There are markets in which the transformation is progressing in leaps and bounds \u2013 for example in Northern Europe: Belgium, Denmark, Norway. But there are also countries where electric mobility is an issue \u2013 including Italy and Spain. A functioning infrastructure is lacking there, and so is interest.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">The low demand for electric cars, coupled with the lack of commitment from political representatives in promoting awareness policies, tax incentives and charging infrastructure have meant that only 13% of cars sold in Europe this year are electric. The industry is doing its homework. SEAT S.A. is doing its homework. We have the product (CUPRA Born, CUPRA Tavascan and from 2026 the CUPRA Raval) and we have the facilities (more than 3 billion of investment in Martorell alone), but we do not see the necessary response from the public administrations. Spanish and European institutions must be up to the task. We are and will continue to be committed to electromobility in our company. There is no plan B. I&#8217;ll be honest: I was skeptical myself at first. But today I&#8217;m happy with my electric car. My wife feels the same way \u2013 she has also opted for an all-electric vehicle because she appreciates the advantages.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">That&#8217;s why I would like to see more communication at all levels: We have to be ambassadors for electric mobility.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;20px&#8221;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2><em><span style=\"color: #508792;\">\u201cThe industry is doing its homework. For example, when we switched from manual to automatic transmissions, manuals were said to be better. But anyone who has driven an automatic was impressed. It&#8217;s a similar story with electric mobility. People just have to try the products and then they will be convinced.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Fleet customers, for example, need to be given the opportunity to test electric vehicles over a longer period of time. This is the only way for them to recognise the advantages for their everyday lives. We also need to enable our key account managers and dealerships to communicate the potential of e-cars even better.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Volkswagen Financial Services also plays a key role in our vision. Their leasing products are an excellent fit with the transformation: customers do not have to buy the vehicles \u2013 with attractive leasing offers, they can familiarise themselves with the technology without making a long-term commitment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<p class=\"L\" style=\"margin-right: 63.75pt;\"><strong>Does this mean that buying a car is a thing of the past? <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"iv-modul__answer\">\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Not quite, but the trend shows that buying is on the decline. Particularly in the fleet business, attractive total packages are in demand, and we are working intensively with Volkswagen Financial Services on these. This applies to our new car offering in connection with service topics, insurance and warranty packages, but also to our used car programmes CUPRA Approved and SEAT Certified Pre-Owned.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<p class=\"L\" style=\"margin-right: 63.75pt;\"><strong>How are you progressing with electrification in the SEAT and CUPRA models \u2013 particularly with regard to fleet relevance?<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"iv-modul__answer\">\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">CUPRA is very strong in terms of e-mobility. Across Europe, around 43 per cent of our models go into fleets \u2013 we are particularly well received by user choosers.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">With the CUPRA Terramar and the CUPRA Tavascan, we have expanded our portfolio to include high-quality, spacious models. The Terramar is now arriving at dealerships, this sporty SUV shifts CUPRA into the hotspot of the fastest growing segment in Europe and is available as a combustion engine and plug-in hybrid. This makes it an excellent choice for fleets because it can handle different driving profiles. The Tavascan, with a range of up to 568 km is also an outstanding fleet car. It is already available in most markets, and will be launched in the UK at the end of December. Next year CUPRA will deliver on its promises with a full-fledged product portfolio. The brand will continue to update and upgrade its product range, with new product features, new powertrains as well as limited editions. In addition, the Volkswagen Group\u2019s electric urban car family \u2013 including the CUPRA Raval &#8211; will continue completing key milestone ahead of its launches in 2026.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<p class=\"L\" style=\"margin-right: 63.75pt;\"><strong>And what about SEAT models for fleets?<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"iv-modul__answer\">\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">The two brands complement each other very well, and we can offer models of different sizes and types of vehicles. SEAT is our volume brand \u2013 with very accessible prices. At the end of 2025, for example, the product upgrades of the Ibiza and Arona will be coming \u2013 which are very interesting for fleets. At the moment, we still have a lot of combustion engines and plug-in hybrids in our portfolio at SEAT because we have focused on CUPRA in the first step of electrification.
