This corresponds to an increase of almost 300 thousand vehicles compared to the previous year &#8211; despite the difficult logistics situation, increased semiconductor costs and supply bottlenecks due to the floods in Slovenia.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Yvonne Kuschel<\/strong>: At the same time, we are glad that we were able to work through the high order backlog despite these challenges and thus significantly shorten the recently very long delivery times for our customers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<p><strong>Then let\u2019s get straight into it: how is the new reality being reflected in our business with commercial customers? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Hans Andree<\/strong>: We can once again perform the way our customers are used to from Volkswagen: We are offering our technologically best product portfolio, have competitive prices and an all-round comprehensive package including financing options of all kinds. Also with our service network, through which company mobility can basically be completely guaranteed.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Yvonne Kuschel<\/strong>: In this regard, Volkswagen is quite unique \u2013 not only among other German brands, but among other European brands, too. Especially since our commercial customers have access to the financing services just mentioned locally, too, through financial services companies in their respective markets. Finally, in the next few months, something is about to be released that might be of interest to fleet operators &#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Hans Andree:<\/strong> In 2024, our fleet customers can expect an impressive display of new products. The successors to the three most popular fleet vehicles in Germany, namely the new Passat, the new Golf, and the new Tiguan, will be launched this year. We are also expanding our product range with the all-electric ID.7 Tourer \u2013 a game changer for company electric mobility.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Yvonne Kuschel:<\/strong> The new Passat on its own is a real highlight: 90 to 95 per cent of registrations in the European markets for this model are accounted for by fleets. The significance of a new generation of the Passat doesn\u2019t need explaining. Much more interesting for fleet operators is the fact that we have further tailored the equipment to their needs. That\u2019s to say, features that fleet customers used to have to order on top are now already included as standard. In concrete terms, this means that the features frequently ordered by major customers are already integrated as standard in the new model.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<p><strong>Let&#8217;s move on to the new Golf. Where\u2019s this model\u2019s journey headed?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Yvonne Kuschel:<\/strong> I\u2019ve been following the Golf my whole life long, since we were both born in the same year \u2013 1974 (laughs). Since 50 years, the Golf stands for the democratisation of new technologies. The update of the Golf is also characterised by the next-generation infotainment system with super-fast processors, intuitive voice control and the integration of ChatGPT.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<p><strong>Apart from this classic that\u2019s continually being reinvented, the ID.7 Tourer is a completely new model &#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Hans Andree:<\/strong> An all-electric counterpart to the Passat has been high on the wish lists of key account managers for some time now; after all, long-distance estate cars in the luxury class play a key role when it comes to moving a fleet towards CO\u2082 neutrality. The new ID.7 Tourer fulfils these requirements perfectly. But above all, the all-electric range of up to 607 kilometres (depending on battery capacity) makes the ID.7 Tourer the ideal car for long-distance drivers. What was the feedback like?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Yvonne Kuschel:<\/strong> To be completely honest: extremely positive. At the events, it was the luxurious spaciousness of the vehicle that seemed to appeal to fleet managers. A maximum loading volume of more than 1,700 litres is already a real statement for an electric vehicle. But the vehicle also really impressed with all the innovation of its interior comfort. On the whole, what we have achieved here, I believe, is the perfect balance of creating something completely new with the vehicle while maintaining all that is \u201cknown and valued\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<p><strong>The models are without question the centrepiece of electromobility. To what extent does Volkswagen support the transition to and operation of an electric fleet?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Hans Andree:<\/strong> Quite clearly \u2013 in the way that we are integrating all relevant factors of electric mobility into it. Because it isn\u2019t just about the vehicles themselves when it comes to this highly consulting-intensive topic. There are other aspects to consider, such as the construction of unique charging infrastructure at company locations. To this end, we have the Group subsidiary Elli\u00b2. At the same time, company car drivers worldwide want to be able to charge in a way that\u2019s straightforward, and this is possible with the Charge&amp;Fuel Card and app from LOGPAY\u00b3. Of course, there are also solutions for the reimbursement of business charging costs as part of the Home Charging Service\u2074 when using wallboxes at home.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Yvonne Kuschel:<\/strong> We\u2019re driving this holistic strategy in a European context, currently with a lot of attention being dedicated to intensive training for our importers with regards to electrification. You could put it like this: we don\u2019t want to remain a \u201cone for all\u201d, we also want to become an \u201call in one\u201d \u2013 in all matters relating to company mobility.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2><em>&#8220;Electric vehicles are now a popular choice in vehicle fleets.
