As one of the first estate cars of the upper mid-sized segment, it is already cruising along in the passing lane. The comfortable and roomy vehicle excels in a wide range of areas \u2013 particularly, in terms of range, something that we will cover later in depth. The new ID.7 fills the electromobility gap in Volkswagen\u2019s model portfolio for estate cars: Together with the new Passat, the company based in Wolfsburg, Germany, now offers business-relevant drive systems that range from all-electric e-vehicles and plug-in hybrids to extremely efficient combustion and diesel vehicles. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.groupfleet.com\/en\/volkswagen-passat-variant\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">You will find additional information about the new Passat here<\/a> \u2013 in the following article, we will focus on the new ID.7 Tourer and the many ways it can help business customers. Volkswagen has also put a charge into the charging process. The ID.7 Tourer can be charged at DC quick-charging stations with an output of up to 200 kW, a feature that reduces the time required to charge a vehicle to below 30 minutes (charged from 10 percent to 80 percent)\u00b3\u207e.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<h2>Benefit: space<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<p>As a variation of the ID.7 saloon, the ID.7 Tourer makes a particularly strong optical impression in the vehicle\u2019s rear end: The design of the electric estate car is defined by a long roof line and the elegant way its flows into the tailgate. Stylistically, the Tourer is a combination of the classic version based on the Passat\u2019s format and an Arteon-styled dynamic shooting brake.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;32250&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<div class=\"iv-modul__question\">\n<p>Thanks to the increased height at the rear, the luggage compartment volume is even larger than that of the fastback saloon: With five people on board, the ID.7 Tourer has a luggage capacity of up to 605 litres: For this purpose, the rear seat backrest can be brought into the cargo position (the capacity totals 545 litres when the cargo position is not used). But this is hardly all: Users who need even more space can fold down the rear seat backrests and pack the vehicle all the way to the backrests of the front seats and up the roof of the interior. They include a standard augmented-reality head-up display: The display projects information relevant to the journey into drivers\u2019 field of vision, so their eyes can stay focused on the road. It is made possible by such details as vents that are automatically operated by small control motors and ergoActive premium seats, with a new pressure-point massage function and automatic seat air conditioning. Another innovation on board is the optional panoramic sunroof with smart glass \u2013 here, the glass layers can be electronically switched to be either opaque or clear. Information on fuel\/power consumption and CO\u2082 emissions given in ranges depends on the equipment selected for the vehicle.<br \/>\nDThe specified fuel\/power consumption and emissions values were determined according to the measurement procedures prescribed by law. On 1 January 2022, the WLTP test cycle completely replaced the NEDC test cycle. This means that NEDC values will not be provided for new type-approved vehicles after this date. The information does not refer to an individual vehicle and is not an integral part of the offer. It is provided solely for the purpose of comparison between the different vehicle types. Additional equipment and accessories (e.g. add-on parts, different tyre formats etc.) may change the relevant vehicle parameters, such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics, and, in conjunction with weather and traffic conditions and individual driving style, may affect fuel consumption, electrical power consumption, CO\u2082 emissions and the performance figures for the vehicle. Because it involves more realistic testing conditions, the fuel consumption and CO\u2082 emission values calculated in accordance with the WLTP are in many cases higher than those calculated in accordance with the NEDC. As a result, there may be corresponding changes to vehicle taxation starting on 1 September 2018. WLTP range values for series production vehicles may differ depending on the equipment. The actual range achieved under real conditions varies according to such aspects as driving style, speed, use of convenience features and auxiliary consumers, outside temperature, number of passengers\/load, topography and the ageing and wear process of the battery.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><em>\u00b3\u207eThe large battery can be charged from 10 percent to 80 percent in about 28 minutes at DC quick-charging stations at a moderate outdoor temperature and a charging capacity of up to 200 kW.
