The location couldn\u2019t have been better: At the racecourse of the National Riding Institute in the Swiss Avenches, sales representatives from Nestl\u00e9 Suisse SA were presented with their new company cars \u2013 126 of a total of 171 \u0160koda Enyaq.<\/span>

The switch to the all-electric model is a part of the food company\u2019s ambitious climate timetable, which stipulates a rapid reduction of emissions. \u201cNestl\u00e9 has a climate protection plan that aims to halve CO\u2082 emissions by 2030 and achieve net zero emissions by 2050. One of the measures is the electrification of the vehicle fleet,\u201d explains C\u00e9dric Diserens, Director of Fleet & Used Car of the Swiss \u0160koda importer, AMAG Import AG.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

As of the end of September 2023, the vehicle fleet of Nestl\u00e9 Suisse SA now comprises 171 \u0160koda Enyaqs. Most of the sales representatives of the company are using the new, all-electric company car. Each of these vehicles will drive around 30,000 kilometres a year on the roads of Switzerland for the next four years, without any CO\u2082 emissions. The electric SUV from the Czech car manufacturer was nominated for the \u201cfavourite car of the Swiss people\u201d in 2022.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

At the vehicle handover at the racecourse of the National Riding Institute in Avenches, the drivers were trained on various sustainability topics. Eugenio Simioni, Generaldirektor from Nestl\u00e9 Schweiz, explains: \u201cThe Nestl\u00e9 Group\u2019s climate action plan encompasses the company\u2019s entire value chain, from the upstream procurement of agricultural raw materials, to production and transport, to downstream packaging recycling.
