A brief look-back in time: \u0160koda introduced the first generation of the Kodiaq in 2016. The Czech car manufacturer assembled an attractive package of dynamic design, exceptional roominess and advanced technology to create its large SUV. Not to mention the many Simply Clever details that have long since become signature features at \u0160koda. Thanks to its performance, the Kodiaq not only won numerous highly respected awards, but was also delivered to more than 840,000 customers in more than 60 markets around the world. Obviously, the striking SUV also made quite an impression in Germany \u2013 both among private and business users. With the second generation of its SUV flagship, \u0160koda intends to continue this success. By offering a newly assembled total package that will please both user-choosers and fleet managers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u2026 with the optional TOP LED matrix headlights. These headlights are now being offered for the first time in the Kodiaq. They have 50 percent more light segments than other models and produce 15 percent more light than the preceding generation, an improvement that also creates a layer of added safety for travellers. They are part of the standard equipment offered in the Sportline model \u2013 an accentuating horizontal strip of lights can also be ordered as an option. The upper Bi-LED and the matrix modules included in them comprise a total of 36 individual light segments. They create the four-eyed front that typifies the \u0160koda SUV. A thin LED strip shaped like an \u2018L\u2019 has been placed between both vertical \u2018eyes\u2019 to serve as daytime running lights, parking lights and blinkers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The new version has been extended by just 61 millimetres and now measures a total of 4,758 millimetres. The wheelbase is 2,791 millimetres. Thanks to its width of 1,864 millimetres and height of 1,659 millimetres, the interior of the Kodiaq is particularly roomy. The Kodiaq has also grown in terms of luggage-compartment volume: the five-seat model now offers up to 75 litres more volume and up to outstanding 910 litres with the rear seats upright. If the driver folds down the second row of seats, the vehicle provides a maximum capacity of up to 2,105 litres \u2013 up to 40 litres more than before. The maximum loading volume of the seven-seat model now totals up to 2,035 litres, up to 30 more than the first generation did.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
