Just recently, the brand launched the enhanced version of its all-electric trailblazer: what fleet customers can now expect.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]\n\n

When Volkswagen launched the ID.3 (ID.3 Pro Performance: power consumption in kWh\/100 km: combined 16.0-15.3; CO\u2082 emissions in g\/km: combined 0. ID.3 Pro S: power consumption in kWh\/100 km: combined 15.7; CO\u2082 emissions in g\/km: combined 0. Only consumption and emission values according to WLTP and not according to NEDC are available for the vehicles. One of these was Bechtle AG, the largest IT system house in Germany with some 80 locations in the DACH region, which added a fleet of 50 models to its existing vehicle pool in late summer 2020. Uli Drautz, Head of Group Controlling, outlined the rationale at the time as follows: \u201cVolkswagen made a flying start with the ID.3 and everything following on this platform. The ID.3 is the vehicle that allows us to take another big step into the all-electric world.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

Italian multi-gas technology provider Pietro Fiorentini also uses pool vehicles. These vehicles have to cope with high loads and long distances, frequent use and many different users. Fleet Manager Lorenzo Groppo: \u201cThe very first day the ID.3 was available at the dealer, I test drove it. Then, with the support of Volkswagen, we analysed the real-life use of our pool vehicles.\u201d<\/a> We quickly made a decision in favour of the compact e-vehicles. So all good then for customers and Volkswagen?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

New version: Getting better all the time<\/h2>\n

Volkswagen recently presented the enhanced version of its all-electric trailblazer \u2013 thus continuing the success story of its ID. family. More than half a million ID. models based on the modular electric drive matrix (MEB) have already been delivered worldwide to date. In Germany, the ID.3 is currently being produced in Zwickau and Dresden and will also roll off the line at the parent plant in Wolfsburg from autumn this year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Next level: Fully connected assist systems<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The IT aspect of the vehicle\u2019s system performance was enhanced and the standard equipment was extended with popular elements. In addition, Volkswagen is focusing on the latest generation of fully connected assist systems in the ID.3\u00b9\u207e. The best examples are the optionally available Travel Assist with swarm or mass location data and Park Assist Plus with memory function, which make the driving experience more comfortable and convenient within their system limits.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe ID.3 shows how we are fulfilling our Volkswagen claim to offer high-quality technologies and innovations right through to the compact class. This is not least reflected in new comfort and assist systems: Thanks to use of swarm or mass location data in the latest Travel Assist, we are taking the next step towards highly automated driving\u201d, explains Kai Gr\u00fcnitz, member of the Brand Board of Management of Volkswagen, \u201cDevelopment\u201d division.<\/p>\n
