The OCTAVIA is now available with a mild hybrid drive which combines a 1.5 litre four-cylinder petrol engine, a 48 V belt-driven starter-alternator and a 48 V lithium-ion battery (OCTAVIA 1.5 TSI e-TEC DSG 110 kW, fuel consumption in l\/100 km: Urban 5.9-5.8, extra-urban 4.0-3.9, combined 4.7-4.6; CO<sub>2<\/sub>\u00a0emissions in g\/km: combined 105; efficiency class: A. OCTAVIA ESTATE 1.5 TSI DSG e-TEC 110 kW, fuel consumption in l\/100 km: Urban 5.9-5.8, extra-urban 4.1-4.0, combined 4.8-4.7; CO<sub>2<\/sub>\u00a0emissions in g\/km: combined 109-107; efficiency class: A. OCTAVIA COMBI SCOUT 1.5 TSI DSG e-TEC 110 kW, fuel consumption in l\/100 km: Urban 6.1, extra-urban 4.2, combined 4.9; CO<sub>2<\/sub>\u00a0emissions in g\/km: combined 112; efficiency class: A). If necessary, the mild hybrid technology supports the engine with an electric boost and allows the e-TEC models to &#8220;sail&#8221; with the engine completely turned off.
